Terms and Conditions.
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of this website and any services, offers, programs, or products provided by Megan Darnell (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By purchasing, booking, enrolling in, or participating in any service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use this website or purchase any offering.
1. GENERAL INFORMATION
All services offered through this website are designed to support personal development, emotional wellbeing, and therapeutic self exploration.
Our work is not a substitute for medical, psychiatric, or emergency mental health care.
You must be 18 years or older to purchase or participate in any offering.
2. SERVICES AND OFFERINGS
We may offer the following types of services:
1:1 Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy informed sessions
12 week therapeutic containers (including Release & Reclaim)
Self paced courses
Workshops, retreats, and other live or recorded experiences
Each offering will have its own inclusions, pricing, structure, and delivery format, as outlined on the relevant sales page or booking page. By purchasing, you agree to the terms listed on that page in addition to these Terms.
3. PAYMENT TERMS
All prices are listed in AUD unless otherwise stated.
Payment options may include:
Pay in full
Payment plan (where available)
Extended payment plan (by prior arrangement only)
If you are on a payment plan, you agree to ensure sufficient funds are available for scheduled payments. If a payment fails, access to services, sessions, or program materials may be paused until payments are brought up to date.
Unless otherwise stated, all purchases are final.
4. REFUNDS, CANCELLATIONS, AND PROGRAM ACCESS
We do not offer refunds for change of mind, scheduling conflicts, or non participation.
For live programs, workshops, or retreats, cancellations due to illness or emergency may be considered on a case by case basis. This is at our discretion and is not guaranteed.
Programs and memberships may not be paused, deferred, or transferred unless explicitly agreed to in writing.
5. 1:1 SESSION RESCHEDULING AND LATE ARRIVALS
If you need to reschedule a 1:1 session, you must provide at least 24 hours’ notice.
Cancellations or reschedules within 24 hours may be charged in full, unless there is an emergency.
If you arrive late to a session, the session will still end at the scheduled time and the full fee applies.
6. ONLINE SESSIONS AND PRIVACY REQUIREMENTS
All sessions are delivered online unless otherwise stated.
You are responsible for ensuring you have:
a laptop or suitable device (laptop preferred)
a reliable internet connection
a quiet, private space where you will not be overheard or interrupted
Sessions must not be attended from public spaces such as cafes, parks, workplaces, or while driving or in your vehicle or walking.
If you attend from a setting where confidentiality cannot be maintained, we will ask you to reschedule.
7. CLIENT RESPONSIBILITY
By participating in our services, you acknowledge that outcomes depend on many factors, including your readiness, capacity, participation, and life circumstances. We do not guarantee specific outcomes.
You agree to:
show up to sessions on time
communicate openly about your needs, boundaries, and capacity
seek external medical or psychological support where appropriate
respect the confidentiality of any group spaces you participate in
8. CONFIDENTIALITY AND GROUP SPACES
All 1:1 sessions are treated as confidential, except where disclosure is required by law.
In group programs, we ask all participants to respect the privacy and confidentiality of others. However, we cannot guarantee the behaviour of other participants. Please use discernment in what you share.
We collect and store personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Your information is not sold or shared.
9. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All materials provided through our services, including but not limited to:
videos
audio recordings
meditations
frameworks
written content
worksheets
course materials
are the intellectual property of Megan Darnell and are provided for personal use only.
You may not reproduce, distribute, share, sell, or repurpose any materials without written permission.
Sharing logins or providing program materials to others is strictly prohibited.
10. DISCLAIMERS AND SCOPE OF PRACTICE
Our work is trauma informed and therapy informed, and may include Internal Family Systems (IFS) based processes.
We are not a registered psychologist, psychiatrist, or medical provider. This means:
we do not diagnose mental health conditions
we do not provide medical treatment
we do not offer Medicare rebates or mental health care plans
our services are not a substitute for care from a GP, psychiatrist, psychologist, or other registered allied health professional
Self paced courses and educational content are not a substitute for individual therapy or medical care.
If you are in crisis, experiencing severe mental health symptoms, or require urgent support, please contact your GP, local emergency services, or a crisis support line.
11. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Deep emotional work may involve emotional activation, discomfort, or the surfacing of past experiences.
By participating in our services, you acknowledge that emotional fluctuation can be a normal part of therapeutic and personal development work, and you agree to take responsibility for your participation and to communicate your needs and boundaries throughout the process.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your participation in any offering.
This clause does not exclude liability where it would be unlawful to do so.
12. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the website or participation in any offering after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
