Terms and Conditions.

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of this website and all offers, programs, services, and memberships provided by Megan Darnell (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By purchasing, enrolling in, or participating in any of our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. General Overview

This website and all related services—including 1:1 therapy-informed sessions, group programs, workshops, memberships, courses, and retreats—are intended for individuals seeking personal development, emotional support, and inner healing. These services are not a substitute for medical or psychiatric care. You must be 18 years or older to engage in any offering.

2. Services and Offerings

We offer the following types of services:

1:1 Internal Family Systems (IFS) Therapy-Informed Sessions
Self-paced courses
Workshops, retreats, and other live or recorded experiences

Each offering may have its own specific inclusions, pricing, format, and schedule, which will be outlined on its respective sales page. By purchasing or enrolling, you agree to those individual terms in addition to these general Terms.

3. Payment Terms

All prices are listed in AUD unless otherwise stated.

Payment plans may be available and must be completed as agreed upon at the time of purchase. If you require an extended payment plan, this may be arranged on a case-by-case basis. Failure to complete a payment plan may result in removed access until payments are up to date.

All sales are final unless otherwise stated.

4. Refund and Cancellation Policy

We do not offer refunds for change of mind, scheduling conflicts, or non-participation. Please choose mindfully.

For live programs or retreats, if a cancellation is required due to illness or emergency, we may, at our discretion, offer a partial credit toward a future offering.

You may not pause or defer your participation in a program or membership unless explicitly stated in writing.

5. Client Responsibility

You acknowledge that your results depend on your own participation, commitment, and engagement. We do not guarantee specific outcomes.

You agree to:

Show up to sessions and calls on time.
Provide at least 24 hours' notice to reschedule a 1:1 appointment.
Engage with practices, tools, and materials to the best of your ability.
Seek external medical or psychological care where appropriate.
Respect the confidentiality of any group spaces you participate in.

6. Confidentiality and Privacy

All 1:1 sessions are confidential. In group settings, we encourage all participants to respect each other’s privacy; however, we cannot guarantee the behaviour of other participants. Please use discernment in sharing sensitive information.

We collect and store your information in alignment with our Privacy Policy. Your information is never shared or sold.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, including videos, meditations, workbooks, audio files, frameworks, and written materials, is the intellectual property of Megan Darnell. These materials may not be reproduced, distributed, shared, or used for commercial or business purposes without express written permission.

Your access to content is for personal use only. Sharing logins, reposting materials, or using content within your own business is strictly prohibited.

8. Disclaimers

Although our work is therapy-informed and grounded in trauma-aware, ethically responsible practices, we operate as a coach and practitioner, not as a licensed mental health professional.

This means:

We do not diagnose or treat mental health conditions.
We are not eligible to offer Medicare rebates, mental health care plans, or referrals under the Australian healthcare system.
Our services are not a replacement for clinical, psychiatric, or medical treatment.
Self-paced courses are for educational purposes only and are not a substitute for 1:1 therapy.

If you are in crisis, experiencing significant mental health challenges, or require clinical support, we strongly recommend seeking help from a registered psychologist, GP, psychiatrist, or emergency mental health service.

We do not make guarantees regarding specific outcomes.

9. Limitation of Liability

Deep emotional work can naturally involve emotional activation or the surfacing of past experiences. We are committed to providing a safe, ethical, trauma-informed environment and to supporting clients to regulate, process, and integrate their experiences appropriately.

By participating in our services, you acknowledge that emotional fluctuation is a normal part of therapeutic and personal development work, and you agree to communicate your needs, boundaries, and emotional capacity throughout the process.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or unforeseeable damages resulting from your participation in any offering. This clause does not exclude liability where it would be unlawful to do so, nor does it diminish our professional duty to provide care, uphold ethical standards, or respond appropriately to signs of distress.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the site or participation in our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
