These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of this website and any services, offers, programs, or products provided by Megan Darnell ("we", "us", or "our"), including The Reset, Magnetic, Release & Reclaim, 1:1 sessions, workshops, and retreats. By purchasing, booking, enrolling in, or participating in any service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use this website or purchase any offering.
1. GENERAL INFORMATION

Our work is not a substitute for medical, psychiatric, or emergency mental health care.
You must be 18 years or older to purchase or participate in any offering.
2. SERVICES AND OFFERINGS
We may offer the following types of services:

12 week therapeutic containers (including Release & Reclaim)
Self paced courses (including Magnetic)
Free resources (the podcast, video recordings, meditations or PDF resources)
Workshops, retreats, and other live or recorded experiences
Each offering will have its own inclusions, pricing, structure, and delivery format, as outlined on the relevant sales page or booking page. By purchasing, you agree to the terms listed on that page in addition to these Terms.
3. PAYMENT TERMS
All prices are listed in AUD unless otherwise stated.
Payment options may include:
Pay in full
Payment plan (where available)
Extended payment plan (by prior arrangement only)
If you are on a payment plan, you agree to ensure sufficient funds are available for scheduled payments. If a payment fails, you will be notified and required to rectify this within 48 hours. If payments remain outstanding beyond this period, access to services, sessions, or program materials may be paused until the account is brought up to date.
Unless otherwise stated, all purchases are final.
4. REFUNDS, CANCELLATIONS, AND PROGRAM ACCESS
4.1 General Policy
We do not offer refunds for change of mind, scheduling conflicts, or non participation.
For live programs, workshops, or retreats, cancellations due to illness or emergency may be considered on a case by case basis. This is at our discretion and is not guaranteed.
Programs and memberships may not be paused, deferred, or transferred unless explicitly agreed to in writing.
4.2 Magnetic Refund Policy
Magnetic is a self paced course. Because it involves instant access to digital course materials, refunds are limited as follows.
You may request a refund within 24 hours of purchase, provided you have accessed less than 20% of the course content (based on modules and materials opened or downloaded).
Refund requests made after 24 hours from purchase, or where 20% or more of the course has been accessed, will not be granted.
Once approved, refunds are processed to your original payment method and your access to the course will end.
Access to Magnetic is granted for the lifetime of the program, for your personal use only, for as long as the course remains available on our platform.
4.3 Release & Reclaim Payment and Refund Policy
Release & Reclaim is a 12 week 1:1 therapeutic container. Payment may be made in full upfront or via a weekly payment plan, as set out in your Client Agreement.
Missed sessions with no notice are counted as used and are not rescheduled or refunded.
If the container needs to end early, whether because your needs have shifted, a referral to a different level of care would better serve you, or for any other reason, either party may initiate this conversation with at least 7 days notice. Refunds in this case are calculated on a pro rata basis for sessions not yet completed. Sessions already delivered are not refunded. If you are on a payment plan, it will be cancelled and no further payments will be taken for sessions not yet delivered.
5. 1:1 SESSION RESCHEDULING AND LATE ARRIVALS
If you need to reschedule a 1:1 session, you must provide at least 24 hours notice.
Cancellations or reschedules within 24 hours may be charged in full, unless there is a genuine emergency.
If you arrive late to a session, the session will still end at the originally scheduled time and the full session fee applies. If you have come from a busy meeting or a stressful moment, we encourage you to give yourself a few minutes to land before the session begins, as the quality of a session is genuinely affected by how you enter it.
Sessions cannot proceed if you are under the influence of alcohol or any non prescribed substances. If this is the case when we connect, the session will be ended and counted as used. We will reschedule when you are in a clear and grounded state.
6. ONLINE SESSIONS AND PRIVACY REQUIREMENTS
All sessions are delivered online unless otherwise stated.
You are responsible for ensuring you have:
a laptop or suitable device (laptop preferred)
a reliable internet connection
a quiet, private space where you will not be overheard or interrupted
Sessions must not be attended from public spaces such as cafes, parks, or beaches, from your workplace, or while driving, in your vehicle, or walking.
If you attend from a setting where confidentiality or focus cannot be maintained, we will ask you to reschedule. This is not a judgement. It is a protection of the work.
7. CLIENT RESPONSIBILITY
By participating in our services, you acknowledge that outcomes depend on many factors, including your readiness, capacity, participation, and life circumstances. We do not guarantee specific outcomes.
You agree to:
show up to sessions on time
communicate openly about your needs, boundaries, and capacity
seek external medical or psychological support where appropriate
8. COMMUNICATION BETWEEN SESSIONS (1:1 CLIENTS)
Support does not mean being available at all times. Between session email is available for brief, session relevant communication, such as a short reflection, a question about your integration practice, or something you want to name before your next session. We respond on business days (Monday to Friday) within 24 hours.
Email is not for processing difficult emotions, seeking reassurance, extended back and forth conversations, or scheduling and rescheduling. Please use your booking link for anything scheduling related.
This is not a messaging, WhatsApp, or unlimited email support service. The work happens in session.
9. CONFIDENTIALITY AND GROUP SPACES
All 1:1 sessions are treated as confidential, except where disclosure is legally required, including situations involving risk of harm to yourself or someone else, or legal obligations under Australian law. If this ever arose, we would approach it with care and transparency.
In group programs, we ask all participants to respect the privacy and confidentiality of others. However, we cannot guarantee the behaviour of other participants. Please use discernment in what you share.
We collect and store personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Your information is not sold or shared.
10. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY AND RESPONSIBLE USE
All materials provided through our services, including but not limited to videos, audio recordings, meditations, frameworks, written content, and worksheets (including Magnetic module content and worksheets), are the intellectual property of Megan Darnell and are provided for your personal use only.
You may not reproduce, distribute, share, sell, or repurpose any materials without written permission.
Sharing logins or providing program materials to others is strictly prohibited.
We ask that you engage with this work responsibly. This content is designed to support your own process and is not intended for use in providing therapy, coaching, or guidance to others. If you are supporting someone else through a mental health crisis, please direct them to appropriate emergency or professional support rather than relying on these materials.
11. DISCLAIMERS AND SCOPE OF PRACTICE
Our work is trauma informed and therapy informed, and may include Internal Family Systems (IFS) based processes.
We are not a registered psychologist, psychiatrist, or medical provider. This means:
we do not diagnose mental health conditions
we do not provide medical treatment
we do not offer Medicare rebates or mental health care plans
our services are not a substitute for care from a GP, psychiatrist, or other registered allied health professional
Self paced courses and educational content, including Magnetic, are not therapy, are not individualised to you, and are not a substitute for 1:1 therapeutic support or medical care.
If you are in crisis, experiencing severe mental health symptoms, or require urgent support, please contact your GP, local emergency services, or a crisis support line.
12. CRISIS SUPPORT
Our services, including Release & Reclaim, Magnetic, and single therapy sessions, are not a crisis support service. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact emergency services (000), Lifeline (13 11 14), Beyond Blue (1300 22 4636), or your nearest emergency department.
13. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Deep emotional work may involve emotional activation, discomfort, or the surfacing of past experiences.
By participating in our services, you acknowledge that emotional fluctuation can be a normal part of therapeutic and personal development work, and you agree to take responsibility for your participation and to communicate your needs and boundaries throughout the process.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your participation in any offering.
This clause does not exclude liability where it would be unlawful to do so.
14. PRACTITIONER LEAVE AND EARLY TERMINATION (RELEASE & RECLAIM)
We take care of ourselves so we can take care of this work. We may take up to two weeks off during your 12 week Release & Reclaim program. We will give you advance notice, and your program end date will adjust accordingly to ensure all 12 sessions are delivered.
See section 4.3 above for our early termination and refund policy for Release & Reclaim.
15. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the website or participation in any offering after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
16. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Nothing in these Terms limits any consumer guarantee or right you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded.
