The Self Led Woman Podcast
A trauma-informed podcast about emotional eating, nervous system safety, and self-leadership.
The Self-Led Woman is a podcast about emotional eating, the experiences that shape our relationship with food, and the kind of healing that unfolds when women reconnect with their sense of self.
Many women who find their way here are capable, self-aware, and high functioning.
You’ve done the work.
You understand yourself.
And yet food can still feel noisy.
In this space, we don’t approach that through control, blame, or more rules.
We look underneath the behaviour.
At trauma.
At the nervous system.
At nourishment and unmet needs.
Because emotional eating isn’t random.
It’s often a strategy your system learned to regulate, cope, and keep going.
This podcast holds deep respect for the intelligence of your body and your system.
For what it adapted to.
For how it protected you.
For the ways it learned to survive.
We talk about food, yes.
But we also talk about connection, grief, mental health, capacity, nourishment, and safety.
About learning the difference between feeding yourself and fighting yourself.
Each episode explores emotional eating through a trauma-informed, parts-based, and somatic lens.
Not to pathologise behaviour.
Not to fix you.
But to understand what your system has been responding to all along.
I’m an Internal Family Systems therapy practitioner, psychedelic-assisted therapy facilitator, and wellness coach.
And I’m also someone who spent decades believing food and my body were the problem, until I discovered what was really underneath.
This podcast is an invitation. Into understanding, self-leadership and into a different relationship with food, your body, and your inner world.
If you’re ready for more depth, honesty, and a grounded conversation about food and healing, you’re in the right place.
